Circularity Scotland has updated a number of provisions within the Policy Papers which form part of the Producer Agreement.

Policy papers are designed to be able to flex as the DRS develops and evolves to ensure we maintain the most cost effective and efficient DRS.

 

The changes are summarised below:

Update

Added additional wording to the Section on VAT in relation to invoicing.

Section 5

In year Funding Review

Update

Additional wording has been added to provide further comfort in relation to the in-year funding review and the Supplementary Producer Fee.

Day 1 REAN Payment

Update

We have added clarity to the wording to clarify that the Day 1 REAN Payment is only applicable on REANs in excess of 3,000,000 units per annum together with a worked example.

Month 1 Invoice

Update

We have added clarity to the wording to clarify that the Month 1 Invoice is only applicable on REANs in excess of 3,000,000 units per annum together with a worked example.

  1. Policy Paper 5 – Accounting & Invoicing Timetable

Section 1.1 Summary Timetable: Reporting, Invoicing, Payment

Update

The tables setting out the payment terms and invoicing in relation to the Day 1 REAN Payment and Month 1 Invoice have been updated to provide clarity in relation to the 3,000,000 unit volume threshold.

Section 1.2 Recurring Payment Terms and Monthly Invoicing

Update

The payment terms have been updated to reflect the improved credit terms for producers.
