Craig is a former Managing Partner and Chair of KPMG in Scotland. During a career spanning more than 35 years at KPMG, he led on a wide range of substantial corporate transactions both in the UK and internationally, managed the firm’s relationship with many of the leading businesses in Scotland while simultaneously growing the firm and empowering its senior team.

David brings 30 years’ experience from prominent leadership roles in the plastics recycling and packaging industries with British Polythene Industries PLC and as owner of Chase Plastics Limited. His wealth of expertise includes management of complex international enterprises and the formation of private high growth businesses. He is also the current Chairman of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Scotland.

Programme Director – DRS Implementation

Donald heads up the team establishing the company and delivering the implementation programme. He has been in leadership roles on the DRS programme since he joined Zero Waste Scotland in early 2019 to develop the initial operating model for the Scheme Administrator and support the final legislation development. Previous experience includes 13 years at BT and Openreach, delivering key roles including transformation projects in the public and private sector, and strategic business development.  

Howard Stone

Howard currently leads the commercial design and development for CSL including the provision of core IT systems.  He brings a range of skills from a career largely spent within the alcoholic drinks sector fulfilling a number of roles embracing supply chain management and business systems design.  More recently Howard has been providing independent consultancy services in the areas of supply chain development and optimisation and excise duty compliance.

Pete has been leading the operations design for the scheme for the last 18 months. A chemical engineering graduate, Pete quickly moved into the brewing industry, fulfilling a varied range of management and leadership roles. The second part of his career focused on planning, logistics, supply chain and systems – he was Planning Director for Scottish & Newcastle in the UK, and then Supply Chain Development Director internationally. 

Martha Fleming

Chief Finance Officer

Martha is Finance Director with over 20 years’ experience across varied sectors in the UK and internationally. Martha has 17 years’ experience in the whisky industry; latterly as Finance Director of the Glenmorangie Company and brings a track record of delivering business management, integration and restructure as well as managing organisational change. More recently Martha has provided virtual FD consulting services to scale up companies and SMEs; driving business transformation and growth.
